Friday 1 BEGINNING OF FASTING PERIOD FOR THE VIRGIN MARY
Note: The Paraclesis services will be chanted on week nights at 6:00 pm starting August 3rd until the 13th. On the two Sundays (Aug 2nd & 9th), the Paraclesis service will be chanted immediately following the Divine Liturgy; on the Eve of the Holy Transfiguration there will be Great Vespers instead. There will be no service on the evening of August 6th.
